Filch

Filch is officially available for adoption!

While we always hope for reunions, Filch will not be able to return to his dad due to the severity of his guardian’s medical situation. After careful consideration, the family has made the incredibly difficult decision to place him for adoption so he can continue to receive the stability, care, and love he deserves.

Filch has been deeply cherished, and this decision was made with his best interests at heart. He is now searching for a patient, committed home where he can truly thrive.

Filch would do best with someone who is home often—such as a senior, a veteran, or someone with a calm, steady lifestyle who can offer him consistent companionship. He does wonderfully with teenagers and makes a loyal, affectionate companion in the right environment.

Filch is roughly 8 years old, neutered, and vaccinated.

If you feel you may be the right match for Filch, please reach out to support@paact.ca for more information or fill out an adoption application.

Toby

In a PAACT Foster Home

Toby is an affectionate young boy estimated to be between 2–3 years old. Recently neutered and fully vaccinated, he is healthy, thriving, and ready for a loving family to call his own.

Toby arrived in care following a seizure of 14 animals, where he had been confined to a single bedroom. Despite this difficult start, he has blossomed into a warm, trusting companion who simply wants to feel safe and loved.

He has a wonderfully soft, unique purr and is proudly the household “Biscuit Master,” kneading happily whenever he is content. Toby is playful yet exceptionally gentle—his claws and nibbles are remarkably soft, making him a tender-hearted companion in every way.

He also has excellent litter habits and appreciates a tidy litter box, which helps him feel secure and comfortable as he continues to settle into normal home life.

This sweet soul adores curling up beside his person and soaking up a sunny spot. He bonds deeply and would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as he can be a bit of a Velcro companion who finds great comfort in closeness.

If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate cat who will follow you from room to room, offer gentle companionship, and fill your home with warmth, Toby may be the perfect match. 💜🐾

Garfield

In a PAACT Foster Home

Garfield is a bright, playful 7-month-old kitten who has been neutered and fully vaccinated, and he is now ready to find a safe, loving home of his own.

He came into care as part of a seizure involving 14 animals, and despite his challenging start, Garfield has shown remarkable resilience. In the last week and a half, he has only just begun to discover what gentle, loving touch feels like. Previously, he interpreted all contact as play, but he is now learning that affection is comforting—and he is starting to seek it out from the people he trusts. With consistent kindness, he is quickly beginning to see his caregivers as safe, positive constants in his world.

Garfield thrives on companionship and would do especially well in a home with another young, social cat. He loves to explore, play, and share space with feline friends like Ollie and Purdy, who have helped him build confidence and understand healthy social cues.

He is a wonderfully gentle kitten—soft with his claws, delicate with his nibbles, and full of natural “cat smarts.” His tail is becoming beautifully fluffy, and his favourite toys are springs and pompoms, which he bats around with endless enthusiasm.

When playtime winds down, Garfield enjoys relaxing near his people and settling into a cozy spot. He’s the perfect blend of spirited kitten energy and tender companionship.

If you are looking for a sweet, lively, and loving young cat who will bring joy, curiosity, and warmth into your home, Garfield may be the perfect match. 💜🐾

Molly

In a PAACT Foster Home

Sweet Molly was recently adopted and, through no fault of her own, was recently returned💔

She is now in emergency foster and hoping to find a forever home where she can finally settle for good.

Molly is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves cozy blanket naps, bird watching, and chatting with her people — she has the cutest little meows and loves to join in on conversation. She has been vaccinated and spayed. 🐾

✨ A gentle reminder: When adopting, remember the 3-3-3 Rule —
💜 3 Days to decompress
💜 3 Weeks to learn a routine
💜 3 Months to truly feel at home

Every pet adjusts at their own pace — patience and understanding make all the difference.

Because every animal deserves a home that is truly forever. 💕

Rogue

In a PAACT Foster Home

Will be available once she has decompressed!

Hi friends! My name is Rouge! 🐾

I am an 8-month-old German Shepherd–Husky mix with sky-blue eyes and a heart that is basically one giant love ball.

I was recently surrendered through no fault of my own and came into care a little underweight and nervous — but with every belly rub and kind word, I am learning that love is safe again.

At first, I might hang back and do a bit of the “sniff and observe” routine, but once I feel safe, I will be your biggest fan, loyal shadow, and cuddle buddy all in one! I adore kids and love making new furry friends — both cats and dogs!

I am fully vaccinated, house- and kennel-trained, and happiest with a cozy routine filled with playtime, snacks, and snuggles. Right now, I am just working on gaining a bit more weight and will soon have my spay appointment — then I will be ready for adoption!

If you would like to help me on my journey home, donations toward my spay appointment would mean the world. Every little bit helps me take one paw closer to my happily-ever-after. 🩵

Ember

In a PAACT Foster Home

Will be available once she has decompressed!

I heard you were asking about me...

My name is Ember — the humans say it means I am strong, that even when everything around me went dark, I kept a little light inside.

My story did not start the way a dogs should. I was thrown from a moving vehicle, left broken, scared, and covered in owies that still whisper what I have been through. But today, something incredible happened… I got to ride in a car again and this time, it was different. There were gentle hands, kind voices, and soft blankets.

They told me I was safe. This word feels new. It feels warm.

The humans said they are gathering all the evidence for the appropriate authorities, to try to have the people who hurt me held accountable. I don’t really understand what that means… but I think it’s something good — something that helps keep other animals safe too.

Now, I have a foster family who loves me already — they call me perfect. My belly is full, my body is healing, and when I close my eyes, I finally feel peace instead of fear and pain.

I may be covered in scars, but they are just proof that I survived, that my little ember never went out.

Max & Marvan

**In a PAACT Foster Home**

Max and Marvan are a deeply bonded pair of gentle, affectionate cats who have been neutered and are now ready to begin the search for a safe, stable forever home—together.

These brothers have had a great deal of change in their young lives, yet both have shown remarkable resilience and a quiet, steady desire to reconnect with caring people. Their personalities complement one another beautifully, and their bond offers each of them comfort, confidence, and emotional grounding.

Max, the black-and-white charmer with his unmistakable little moustache, is expressive, social, and full of warmth. Recently, Max was diagnosed with urinary crystals—an issue that is well managed through a strict urinary-care diet. Despite the discomfort he previously experienced, Max’s temperament remains incredibly soft and trusting. He enjoys affection, welcomes play, and genuinely thrives on human connection. Max has a natural ease around children and other pets, and his gentle confidence helps reassure his more sensitive brother, Marvan.

Marvan, a beautifully marbled tabby, carries a quieter, tender presence. He is deeply affectionate once he feels safe, often curling up close and settling into calm, rhythmic purrs. Marvan forms strong attachments, and his emotional sense of security is closely tied to Max. One of his most endearing traits is his attachment to his favourite stuffed fish, which he carries with him like a source of comfort. He does best in a peaceful, predictable environment where his sweetness can truly shine.

Together, Max and Marvan are the perfect balance of spirited charm and gentle companionship. Max brings playful energy and social confidence; Marvan brings softness, calm, and emotional depth. They share beds, seek each other out in new spaces, and visibly relax when they are together—reminding us just how powerful their connection is.

Peanut

**  IN A PAACT FOSTER HOME **

Peanut entered PAACT’s care due to circumstances entirely outside of his guardian’s control. His owner is facing an unexpected international move driven by immigration policy changes, and despite a deep bond and every effort to keep him, taking Peanut abroad was financially impossible. This decision was made with immense love and the hope that he would remain safe, supported, and cherished here in Alberta.

Since arriving in foster care, Peanut has shown extraordinary sweetness and emotional resilience. He carries a calm, grounded presence—one that fosters trust easily and makes him a comforting addition to any home. He enjoys companionship, welcomes gentle affection, and adapts well to new people and environments when given the time and space to settle.

Peanut has a wonderfully soft temperament. He is polite with his paws, patient with children, and relaxed when left alone. His ginger-and-white coat gives him a striking appearance, but it is truly his warm, steady nature that makes him shine. Whether sharing quiet moments or exploring at his own pace, he approaches life with ease and curiosity.

He would thrive in a home that values predictability, gentleness, and companionship. Peanut is suitable for families, singles, seniors, and many multi-pet homes (with slow, supported introductions). He does not require any special medical or behavioural care—just stability, kindness, and a person or family who appreciates his mild-mannered charm.

When the day winds down, Peanut enjoys finding a cozy spot near his people, content simply to be part of the household. He is the perfect balance of affectionate company and independent comfort.

If you are looking for a sweet, loving, and well-mannered young cat who will bring warmth, serenity, and quiet joy into your home, Peanut may be the perfect match. 🧡🐾

Bandit and Hobbes Updated.png

Hobbes & Bandit

**  IN A PAACT FOSTER HOME **

These two companions came into PAACT’s care after their owner experienced significant hardship, and despite the upheaval, both have shown remarkable resilience and an unmistakable desire to reconnect with people they trust.

Bandit, the long-haired sweetheart of the pair, required extra attention when he first arrived. His coat was severely matted and causing him discomfort, and one eye needed veterinary care. With gentle handling, a full groom, and the opportunity to rest and heal, Bandit has begun to flourish. He now leans into daily brushing sessions with quiet contentment—brushing has become both part of his care and a meaningful source of comfort. With his coat soft and healthy again, he has resumed grooming himself and moving through his environment with renewed confidence.

Hobbes, his short-haired companion, is the calm, nurturing heart of the duo. He loves gentle affection, makes biscuits when he’s happy, and gravitates toward warm, cozy spaces close to his people. Hobbes is soft-mannered, steady, and emotionally attuned—his presence brings ease and reassurance to Bandit, and their connection is evident in the way they relax, explore, and rest alongside one another.

Together, they are beautifully balanced. Hobbes offers grounding warmth, while Bandit brings expressive softness and enthusiasm. Both boys are deeply social, affectionate, and clearly accustomed to being cared for with love. They use their litter boxes reliably, enjoy drinking from their water fountain, and are slowly warming up to wet food with consistency and patience.

If you are looking for a gentle, loving duo who will bring warmth, companionship, and quiet joy into your home, Hobbes and Bandit may be the perfect match. 🤎🧡🐾
