Core Volunteers Needed!
PAACT is seeking dedicated Core Volunteers to help us provide compassionate, community-based support to pets and the people who love them. Core Volunteers play an active, ongoing role in prevention, advocacy, education, and direct support—helping keep pets safe, supported, and at home whenever possible. If you value empathy, collaboration, and meaningful impact, we invite you to be part of the backbone of our work.

Pet and Animal Advocacy Care Team
(2703691 Alberta Society)
PAACT (Pet & Animal Advocacy Care Team) is committed to strengthening the bond between pets and their people through compassionate, community-driven support. We empower pet owners with the education, resources, and advocacy needed to promote responsible, sustainable pet care by prioritizing early intervention and direct home-to-home rehoming solutions to reduce shelter intake. Through transparency, collaboration, and a deep respect for the unique connection between animals and the people who love them, we work to create a more connected, inclusive, and compassionate community where both pets and people can thrive.
Important Summer Information!
PAACT will be operating without fixed hours during this time. Our team will continue to monitor messages and respond based on volunteer availability, with a goal of replying within 48 hours.

We remain committed to supporting the community through programs like Care Closet, Tail End Journey, and Foster Friends for Healing.
