Storage Locker Open House & Donation Collection

Location: Sentinel Storage – 36 Street North, Lethbridge
Assist with welcoming donors, unloading and organizing donations, and preparing items for upcoming fundraising initiatives.
Volunteers Needed: 2
Summer Bottle Drive Fundraiser
July 7, 2026 | Starting at 9:00 AM
Location: Various Locations Throughout Lethbridge
Help collect donated bottles and cans, assist with loading and transportation, and support fundraising efforts across the community.
Volunteers Needed: 4+
Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to lift bags of bottles and cans.
Garage Sale Loading & Preparation
August 28, 2026 | Beginning After 3:00 PM
Location: Sentinel Storage – 36 Street North, Lethbridge
Support final preparations for our annual garage sale fundraiser by helping sort donations, organize supplies, and load the U-Haul.
Second Chances, Second Treasures Garage Sale Fundraiser
August 29, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Henderson Lake Park (Beside the Large Playground)
One of PAACT's largest annual fundraisers. Volunteers are needed for setup, event support, and cleanup throughout the day.
Volunteer Shifts Available:

Takedown & Cleanup: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Volunteers may sign up for full-day, half-day, or individual shifts.

PAACT is hosting a Storage Locker Open House to collect donations for our upcoming “Second Chances, Second Treasures” Garage Sale Fundraiser taking place Saturday, July 18th at Henderson Lake Park in Lethbridge.
Stop by PAACT’s storage locker on:

Please note: the main gate will be locked. Simply look for a PAACT volunteer wearing PAACT apparel, and they will guide you to the storage locker location.

After the fireworks fade and the celebrations are over, your empty bottles and cans can help keep pets fed, families together, and animals out of shelters.
For many families, a pet is more than just an animal—they Are family. Through PAACT's community initiatives, we help pet owners facing financial hardship, crisis, or unexpected challenges access the resources they need to keep their pets safe, healthy, and at home.
This summer, you can help simply by donating your refundable bottles and cans!
PAACT’s Summer Bottle Drive:

Pick-Up Begins at 9:00 AM

No sorting! No drop-off! No hassle!
How It Works:
1. Gather your refundable bottles and cans
2. Complete our quick pick-up form (BELOW)
3. Place your bottles outside before 9:00 AM on July 7
4. Our volunteers will pick them up and do the rest
As a thank you for supporting local pets and families, be sure to check your doorstep or mailbox after your donation is collected. Every participating household will receive a special thank-you gift from PAACT while supplies last!
Every bag helps!
What may seem like a few empty bottles could mean a full food bowl, a warm bed, or one less family forced to choose between caring for themselves and caring for their pet. Whether you have one bag or a garage full of bottles, your donation creates an imPAACT right here in our community!

Due to a busy summer schedule for our core team, PAACT has made the decision to reschedule our annual garage sale fundraiser.
NEW DATE: Saturday, August 29, 2026
Location: Henderson Lake Park (beside the large playground)
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This fundraiser brings our community together to support local pets and the people who love them, helping create second chances through resources, education, advocacy, and compassionate support.
Community Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
• Loading and event preparation on August 28 (after 3:00 PM)
• Morning setup (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
• Event support throughout the day (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Takedown and cleanup (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
No need to commit to the entire event—full-day, half-day, and single-shift volunteers are all welcome. Every hour of support helps make a meaningful difference!

Supporting local pets and the people who love them
Help turn your empties into lifesaving support for animals in our community. PAACT is hosting a city-wide bottle drive to raise funds for essential programs that keep pets safe, healthy, and at home during times of hardship.
Every bottle and can donated helps fund initiatives such as emergency foster support, the Care Closet, and community-based animal advocacy across Lethbridge.
