✨ Mr. Joe Update! ✨

Remember Mr. Joe, our sweet diabetic gentleman with the sunken little face?

Well, we have the happiest news to share — he is absolutely thriving in his foster home!

Mr. Joe has settled in beautifully with one of our incredible volunteers experienced in diabetic care. Thanks to the dedicated TLC (and some tasty meals!), his glucose levels are looking fantastic. Even better? He is officially up 1 whole pound, and his once rough coat is now soft, silky, and shining again.

His playful side is blossoming too. From spurts of hilarious zoomies around the house to proudly prancing with a toy, it is clear Mr. Joe is feeling more like himself every day. And just like a little dog, he will patiently sit by your side, hoping to share a nibble of your meal. Of course, when he is not supervising the kitchen and waiting for you to turn the tap on for his drink, he is happiest curled up in the sun on the deck as the ultimate lap cat, soaking up all the cuddles.

We are so proud of this boy and grateful he is getting his second chance at a happy, healthy life. Thank you for cheering him on with us — it truly takes a village, and Mr. Joe’s village is simply the best. 💛🐾
