š¾ Exciting PAACT Initiatives ā Making an ImPAACT in 2025! š¾
At PAACT (Pet & Animal Advocacy Care Team), we are dedicated to creating a compassionate community for pets and their people. Here is a look at our current initiatives making a difference right now:
š§ļø Frosty Paws Sanctuaries (previously Warm Whiskers Project) - Our annual project provides insulated shelters to stray and feral cats during harsh winter months. In 2024, we distributed 39 sheltersāthis year, our goal is 75! Donate supplies or volunteer to help keep them safe!
šļø PAACTās Care Closet ā A FREE resource for pet owners in need! We provide food, treats, blankets, leashes, toys, and more to ensure no pet goes without essentials. Donations are always welcome!
š PAACT Pet Nail Trims ā Does your pet need a nail trim but struggles with the groomer or vet? Let PAACT help! We are now offering mobile pet nail trims for a minimum $5 donation ā and we come to you!
š” Tail End Journey (Rehoming) ā A compassionate alternative to shelter surrenders. We connect pets directly with new homes through responsible adoption matching, ensuring every transition is as smooth as possible.
š Tail End Journey (Missing or Found Pets) ā Helping reunite lost pets with their families through social media, custom posters, and outreach. If youāve lost or found a pet, weāre here to help!
š Whiskers Over the Rainbow: Pet Grief Support ā A safe space for those grieving the loss of a pet, whether recent or anticipated. Our group provides understanding, comfort, and support from those who truly get it.
š¤ Foster Friends for Healing: The Bridge to Home ā Providing temporary or long-term care for pets whose owners are facing crises like housing displacement, medical challenges, or domestic violence. Weāre building a network of compassionate foster caregivers.
š We rely on community support to continue these vital services. Whether youād like to donate, volunteer, or spread the word, you can help us make a lasting imPAACT!
